Dear Jannali East Before & After School Care (JEBASC) families,
Committee meetings are held twice a term. Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday 6th November at 6.15pm in the school hall.
For the centre to continue, it has to have the involvement of parents either to be on the Management Committee or to assist in other ways. A minimum of six committee meetings takes place at the centre annually, and notices of these meetings are displayed at the centre, ALERT message through the Jannali East Public School (JEPS) app and on the Centre’s website. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend meetings to discuss any issues or give feedback.
Please show your support by attending.
Welcome to the Jannali East Before and After School Care (JEBASC) website.
JEBASC is a Not for Profit Centre and was the vision of parents of the Jannali East Public School, that was established in 1990. JEBASC is still managed by a volunteer Parent Committee that meets twice a term to discuss relevant information on how the centre is run.
We provide equal opportunities for all children, parents and staff. Our environment is safe, happy and caring and children are able to develop their social, creative, emotional and physical skills.
Legislation recommends a care ratio of 1:15, however JEBASC endeavours to provide at the heightened ratio of 1:10 or 1:12 maximum.
Children can choose from a wide variety of activities. Indoor activities include craft, drawing, board games and construction sets such as Lego, Mobilo, K-nex and marble track. Outdoor activities include ball games, and sports on the soccer fields and grass fields, other exciting activities are hoops and skipping.
Each day children are provided with a healthy breakfast and in the afternoon a nutritious afternoon tea that caters for all allergy and dietary requirements.
At JEBASC children are very happy and have lots of fun.
Everybody is Welcome.
